Our Principal

Hello Hillcrest Families and Friends!

My name is Erika Fiorenza and I am honored to join the Hillcrest community as your Principal.   I have served the Adams 12 Five Star School community since 2008 after beginning my teaching career in Aurora.  I’ve served in various roles including Elementary Teacher, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal and most recently as Principal at North Mor Elementary.  I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of schools and communities and feel incredibly fortunate to serve the Hillcrest community.  

I was raised in Colorado and can’t imagine calling anywhere else "home".  I am the mother of two boys who attend an Adams 12 elementary school and my husband is also a teacher in the district.  We are proud of the fact that we are an “Adams 12 Family” and connect strongly to the vision of the district and the ways in which we are committed to serving ALL students in Adams 12. 

I value the impact of education and hold both a Masters Degree of Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Linguistically Diverse Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership.  I am passionate about teaching and learning and the opportunities that come as a result of learning. 

I look forward to partnering with you.  I strongly believe in the power of partnership between home and school and will continue to seek your input and feedback as we work collectively to provide a safe, positive learning environment where all students find success both socially and academically.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any comments, questions, concerns or compliments related to your Hillcrest experience.
