I hope that this email finds you doing well and squeezing all the fun out of the last weeks of summer.  On behalf of the entire Hillcrest staff, welcome back to the 2025-2026 school year where YOU BELONG!

 

For those of you who are returning students and families, this year you will see a few changes to our Hillcrest school staff.  Please join us in welcoming: 

• Natalie Markarian, 4th grade teacher  (previously a 3rd grade teacher at Hillcrest)

Back to School Night Open House- August 7, 5pm - 7 pm

Hillcrest will be hosting our Back to School Night on Thursday, August 7th from 5pm - 7pm.  During this time, we invite all families and students to come to Hillcrest to meet their teachers, drop off school supplies, get information about the upcoming year and visit their classrooms.  This is an open house type event so we welcome you to stop in at any time between 5 pm and 7 pm.

Adams 12 Back to School Bash - Saturday, August 2nd, 8:30-11 am

Adams 12 Five Star Schools will be hosting their annual “Back to School Bash” on Saturday, August 2nd from 8:30 - 11 am at the Five Star Stadium.  There will be community resources available, free backpacks and school supplies (while supplies last).  More information can be found on the Back to School Bash page, here.

 

Annual Online Check-In

IMPORTANT: The IC parent portal is where the Annual Online Check-In can be completed.  All students are expected to complete the Annual Online Check-In which is open now through August 7th, 2023. This process ensures that we have the correct information in our database for your student and family and allows you to view your student's teacher and schedule. 

 

Kindergarten Registration

If  you or someone you know has a child that will be turning 5 prior to October 1, they are able to attend full day Kindergarten!  See more information about our kindergarten program and how to register new students here.

 

District Calendar and School Start and End Times

The Adams 12 District Calendar for the 2025-2026 school year can be accessed here.  School hours will continue to remain the same for elementary school are 7:50-2:35, Monday through Friday.  

 

Upcoming Important Dates:

• August 2, 8:30-11am - Adams 12 Back to School Bash @ Five Star Stadium
• August 7, 5-7 pm - Hillcrest Back to School Night, Open House!
• Tuesday, August 12 - First Day of School!

Espero que este correo les haya resultado bien y que estén disfrutando al máximo las últimas semanas del verano. En nombre de todo el personal de Hillcrest, ¡le damos la bienvenida nuevamente al año escolar 2025-2026, donde USTED PERTENECE!

Noche de puertas abiertas de regreso a clases: 7 de agosto, de 5 p. m. a 7 p. m.

Hillcrest celebrará su Noche de Regreso a Clases el jueves 7 de agosto, de 5:00 a 7:00 p.m. Invitamos a todas las familias y estudiantes a visitar Hillcrest para conocer a sus maestros, entregar los útiles escolares, informarse sobre el próximo año y visitar sus aulas. Este evento es de puertas abiertas, así que los invitamos a visitarnos en cualquier momento entre las 5 y las 7 p.m.

Fiesta de regreso a clases de Adams 12 - Sábado 2 de agosto, de 8:30 a 11 a. m.

Adams 12 Five Star Schools celebrarán su "Fiesta de Regreso a Clases" anual el sábado 2 de agosto, de 8:30 a 11:00 a. m., en el Estadio Five Star. Habrá recursos comunitarios, mochilas y útiles escolares gratuitos (hasta agotar existencias). Para más información, visite la página de la Fiesta de Regreso a Clases.aquí.

 

Registro anual en línea

IMPORTANTE: El portal para padres de IC es donde se encuentra el Registro anual en línea para completar. Se espera que todos los estudiantes completen el Registro Anual en Línea, disponible desde ahora hasta el 7 de agosto de 2023. Este proceso garantiza que tengamos la información correcta en nuestra base de datos sobre su estudiante y su familia, y les permite consultar el horario y el nombre del profesor de su estudiante.

 

Inscripción Para kinder

Si usted o alguien que conoce tiene un hijo que cumplirá 5 años antes del 1 de octubre, ¡puede asistir al kínder de día completo! Consulte más información sobre nuestro programa de kínder y cómo inscribir a nuevos estudiantes aqui.

 

Calendario del distrito y horarios de inicio y fin de clases

El calendario del Distrito Adams 12 para el año escolar 2025-2026 se puede consultar aquí. El horario escolar para la escuela primaria se mantendrá igual: de 7:50 a 2:35, de lunes a viernes.

 

Próximas fechas importantes:
